From 1998-2003, 1,304 BC youth lost their lives. These stats inspired Lougheed Town Centre to put a new PR spin on the upcoming Grad Season. This multi-layered program received over $200,000 in media exposure, ICSC accolades, and the Solicitor General's Safety Award. The campaigns finale was a 675 person candlelight vigil, led by the Mayor, down Lougheed Highway in the pouring rain!

In 2006, Lougheed Town Centre's "Chinese New Year" event was ready for a shakeup. We renamed the event "Lunar New Year" to include the bordering Korean community. This two-day event celebrated both cultures, their dignitaries, artists, community groups, and traditional performers. PR efforts resulted in multiple pages of print coverage and hours of TV/cable coverage.

As community partners with the Burnaby Firefighters, we designed the collateral to get their program launched and assisted with editorial support.

Each year, we created a media event surrounding fire awareness. This year's challenge involved a friendly competition between the Fire Chief and the Mayor racing on air propelled scooters.

We took advantage of media covering the new Lougheed Skytrain station's opening to grab a little of their attention. Using the 300ft long chain-link fence that connected it to the mall, more than 1,000 children mounted their painted fish in the name of salmon conservation.
